PE 8+1 fishing line is a multifilament string woven from 9 strands of fiber. Eight strands are woven around the periphery, while one strand (core strand) is placed in the middle. These core strands make the strings more dense, perfectly rounded, and have better abrasion or friction resistance. This type of string offers high strength, smooth surfaces for longer casting distances, and minimal stretch (zero stretch), making it sensitive to any vibrations.
